No. The problem is that you are looking at a market (TV) where manufactures don't gives a damn the moment you bought their product.
Since when those SmartTVs are done beyond half ass? They are all unresponsive mess, broken features, or buggy, with no fix or improvements in sight, unless they see it will hurt their sells, and complete forget about you the moment a new model comes out.

Their business model is to charge you the most and maximizing profits. They push half baked features to justify high prices which they hope it will sell.

The leafblower remains :-(

WHY can't M$ solve this? Under W8.1 my fan barely runs, but under every W10 build thus far, including this one, the fan runs non-stop. I have indexing on my SSD turned OFF so it can't be indexing.

Host Process for Windows Tasks runs a consistent 25-30% of CPU even with nothing open. What IS that? Task Manager itself is running only .3%. The back of my SP3 feels much warmer than under 8.1.

** I just manually ended the Host Process and fan calmed down almost immediately. I did not seem to lose any functionality.

I did and do run SpeedFan under 8.1 and Win10 TP both. Ideal/optimal/best solution? No, but since when did, does any OS get it 100% right, beta or not?

In my opinion, NOBODY should install a version of Win10 that was not made public by MS and which is not available from the update settings.

In term of safety and security, this is a very stupid choice.

Wait 3 more days and you'll probably have an official build.

Just ran Windows Update after installing some Office 2003 and 2007 apps and got a bunch of Office related updates. Start Button no longer functions.

Emphasis on your opinion. Everyone's entitled to theirs. I'll stick with the adage about opinions, the Internet and arseholes.

OK, officially lost on this one. No matter what I tried couldn't get Start Button functional again. So did clean refresh.

Got Start Button back but when calibrating color NO GAMMA OPTION! Every time I've done this with Windows 10 including this builtdI've had option to set GAMMA, now its not there.

Truly bizarre.

So you should see quite a few svchost.exe processes, you can right click and choose "Go to service(s)".

The relevant services should then be shown on the "services" tab, selected. You can then extend your investigation a little more.

I've not had this issue with my SP3 with Windows 10, luckily.

Every now and then, I open the Insider Hub app which is very useful as it points out some of the new features and asks you to complete a mission. Sorta like a game, then afterwards, you can give feedback.

The Insider Hub also gives you insight on features or a little blurb on what's coming around, or what's not. Overall I'm still impressed with Windows 10 and hope they try to take ALL our feedback seriously and incorporate it. There's also a feedback link if you can't find or didn't pin the feedback app on your Start menu.

Anyway, just wanted to point this out to remind people to use this as this is how as beta users we can shape and help what the next OS should be. :) I seem to discover something new, or find they've improved a feature, or sometimes regressed too. But overall they're making great progress.

Noticed that screen is a bit off center to the top. Top of browser slightly cut off.

Edit - This may just be a Chrome thing.

Mail, Calendar and People app is broken and no apparent way to fix it.

Error code 0x80073cff when trying to reinstall.

Hmm, no issues with those apps for me. Still on build 9926 and updated Definitions and a few other small items, but no Office updates.
