Install Surface Pro Driver from Microsoft download site

Cannot create SSID to my home network after my home gateway router device was replaced with a XB8 device

The SSID created on the XB8 has the same name as the previous but the password had to be changed since the old contained a space,​

The Dells, HP Pavilion, Lenovo,Thinkpad, iphone WIFI SSID were recreated successfully.​

Following the same procedure on Surface Pro, failed.​

Errors:​

(1) Attempt to uninstall the Network Adapter driver, there was no 'check the box ‘Delete the driver software for this device' which is an important step for the other computers to successfully recreate the SSID. Explanation found on the internet: Surface Pro Windows using a built-in "inbox" driver for the network adapter.​

(2) Administrator in cmd window: pnputil /delete-driver "mrvlpcie8897.inf " /force OEM error.​

Existing driver need to be updated (preferably replaced): Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller (mfr: Marvell Semiconductor, inc.). Microsoft installed this driver on my Surface Pro. (The driver mfr display Microsoft)
Downloaded Driver File: SurfacePro_Win10_150723_0.zip downloaded from Microsoft. Comment: "This device has reached the End of Servicing. The following packages are no longer being updated with newer drivers and firmware".

In the zip, Wifi folder contains 3 files: mwlu97w8.cat (Security catalog), mwlu97w8x64.inf (Setup Information - instructions), mwlu97w8x64.sys (System File) There is no MSI​

Update/replace the the downloaded WIFI driver: Since there is no MSI, how do update the driver?

I can't update the driver from Device Manager>Network Adapter>, right click on Marvell driver, update driver, browse to the location of the Wifi files.​

Please provide the steps to update the existing driver manually using the setup information​

Attached is the mwlu97w8x64 (Setup Information - instructions). Original extension .inf, replaced with .txt
