Robotic Sounds when using earbuds

In the last 4 weeks I have noticed the sound from my Jabra earbuds is very poor and robotic sounding when I connect them to my Surface Pro 7. This problem does not occur with any other devices. I have unpaired and reconnected several times with no improvement. Any ideas anyone?

Does this only happen with these earbuds? And does it only happen on the Surface Pro? You should try to connect it to different devices to see what the cullprit is.
