PXE Boot Surface Book?

So, is there anyone who has verified that the Microsoft Surface USB Ethernet adapter is actually compatible with PXE booting and Win PE connectivity with the Surface Book?
I notice the Ethernet drivers are listed on the Surface Pro 3 downloads page, but not on the Surface Book downloads page.

That is how we installed Windows 10 Enterprise on our Surface Books, using the USB Ethernet Dongle.
