Mini Display Port adapter (SP3)

Hi Guys,

I recently ordered a Mini Display adapter (THIS), And it just arrived today.
Now as you might have noticed this adapter has 3 connectors:
- Display port
- DVI
- HDMI

Since my monitor is supporting all of them I was just wondering what the difference between these 3 connectors is and which is preferable to use?

I'll be testing some possibilities since I'm curious if I can connect multiple monitors to it simultaniously (I guess that won't work as it is just a cheap as sollution, but who knows...)

from what i can tell, i recent bought a monitor and done a little research, the normal size display port(3rd from bottom) will work for higher resolutions than the rest so it is better, then is DVI then HDMI.

bought the same adapter Cheap and it works!
Sadly the passive DVI-VGA adapters don't work... oh wonder

i don't think you can connect multiple Monitors at once... never tried... but if it works you have mirrored picture on all of them.

I bought this one because I need VGA for my projector, but don't need DVI - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LL3O236. So far, it works find!
