Keyboard Cover Issue

Within the last 10 days, I noticed that the entire top row of keys on my SP3 Keyboard Cover do not work.

I've installed all the latest updates.

I've removed the device completely and reinstalled.

I've done a reset

Nothing changes at all. I'm thinking that some setting might have changed that is causing it to not work. However, I have checked about every thing I can think of and nothing.

Anyone else experience this at all? Thanks

- Dirty contacts / debris on contacts

I cleaned it thoroughly thinking the exact same thing. No dice. All the other keys, however, work as does the trackpad.

Fn Key lock however I have not checked.

We're on to something here. When I hold down the Fn key and then use the top keys it works! However, I never had to do this before. So, question is, how to I change it BACK? Apparently I have done something here and cannot figure out how to correct it.

BTW - I'm a recent convert back to Windows having been with MacAir for last 3+ years so I'm learning. How would I unlock that FN key issue on this particular device?

Press “Fn” + “Caps” keys simultaneously to set or unset the lock!
