While the unit still works as it should, of course... I have had a couple of annoyances after a restore from backup (camera and BitLocker refused to work), so I don't want to waste my time if this is a no go. The reason I want MBR is so I can do what I do on any other computer, run multi-boot with PowerQuest Boot. It's an ancient program, but it works just as well with any version of Windows by simply hiding all primary partitions but one and then setting the visible one active. That way I can have Windows versions from XP up to 10 on the same computer, without them knowing about each other. I don't really like to multi-boot with the boot menu since changes in one OS can affect the other stuff. So can the Surface handle MBR, or is that impossible?
