Cortana not existent after windows update

Hello, i updated my surface pro x and after it was all said and done cortana disappeared. When i click the cortana app nothing happens at all. please help me out

Cortana is being moved to a free App from the Microsoft Store. Install it from there.

Cortana will completely disappear later in 2021 because Microsoft has chosen not to compete feature-by-feature with Siri, Alexa, Bixby, Google Assistant, and other such voice-based assistant services. Instead, Cortana will provide some voice-assistant functions for Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Skype, and some other software services.
