Why "Airplane Mode" after updates?

It seems that every so often, especially after system updates, I have connectivity problems . When I investigate, often I find that Airplane Mode is on. This isn't something I ever use. It happened again today.

Any idea where it comes from?

I regularly see that the Airplane Mode icon is blue on my desktop, indicating that AM is on, even though Airplane Mode is not actually on. If I click on the icon, it goes gray but the computer goes into AM, which is backwards. Just another Windows 10/Surface Book glitch from what I can tell.

Yours is the second post about that, just today. It has been a bug in Windows 10 that affects a lot of people. I have desktops that don't have blue tooth yet the icon says it's on. ;)
