Surface Pro- is it new??

Hi all,

I bought a new SP4 from amazon.co.uk (2 days ago) and the battery isn't great. I did a battery report and it says its battery design is 38,152 but I think that is low. Also the battery report mentions under 'usage history' that is was on AC power during august-September active for 167.58.59. Do you think that is normal???

Any help would be great.

How many battery cycles has it had? It should also say in the battery report. The design capacity is, from what I've seen, normal. I've seen anywhere from 38 to 39.5 from the SP4s I've used.

It says only one cycle that's what puzzles me. I don't know why the report mentions days between july and September in the usage history

All of times are exact - looks programmatic, is anything wrong with machine?

the battery was not great over first two days, but lots of people have said that that can happen etc.

Windows 10 does a whole bunch of system optimizations in the first couple of days so I wouldn't be worried yet. Give it a week of the device being on and see if it gets better during that time.
