If it fails out of warranty your options are the person you talk to in customer service likes you and will act like it's under warranty (doubtful) or purchase a refurb they offer you.

If it fails out of warranty your options are the person you talk to in customer service likes you and will act like it's under warranty (doubtful) or purchase a refurb they offer you. But there is always a chance they can fix it but they will charge you.

Call me old school, but I still can't understand how an update process could damage hardware like this. That's just plain....stupid?
