Surface Book 2 and Airpods

Is anyone having connectivity issues with this combo?

I have it paired with my iPhone SE as well as my Surface Book 2.

The issues I have are after it's been paired with my SB2, and choose the audio source back to my phone, the SB2 would automatically connect again.

If I disconnect from my phone and use the SB2, there are times when the Airpods would connect flawlessly, but there are also times when the sound will either come and go, audio will just drop for no reason, and I have to re-pair the earbuds.

Any suggestions?

Try turning off auto sleep for the air pods in the power management section.

Tried that. The auto disconnect and reconnect intervals have decreased, but the connection range and interference is the same.

I was having the same problem on my surface book 2. I fixed it by going to regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974}\0000 and go inside right click >new>String Value and name it PnPCapabilities and set value 24. save and restart ur computer
