I would hardly consider a long start menu not efficient. Its either a finger swipe or a trackpad swipe away. All organised. I get plenty done!

Mine looks empty compared to some of those, basically I have few essential programs pinned to taskbar: browser (currently testing Vivaldi in addition to metro IE), PS, Lightroom and folders. Start covers everything else that might be useful. Backgrounds by Hugo Bodoukian Meyrant
