if you prepare the USB device then launch the MCT it will see the USB device and you can select the USB as the destination. It will create and verify the USB. downloading an ISO is a different option. I like verify because I have had issue with getting bad copies before.

I can't find a media creation tool for 10. I've found the page with directions on what to do, but the link to the software is just for the ISO.

If you use this page, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 you can create the ISO or do a live install. You need to start the process before you get to the install part.
