The power "brick" for my new Surface Pro 2017 gets very hot. It's not so hot that it blisters skin, but would be uncomfortable to hold in your hands for, say, 30 seconds. I would normally have the brick laying on my laminated wood desktop, but have placed it on its thin edge on top of rubber pads to raise it since I fear constant high heat may damage/delaminate the desktop veneer.
I live in Thailand with 220v mains power. Is this heat normal/usual?
