I have had my Surface 2017 for about a month now. All of a sudden I'm having strange issues.
I can't display properties from right click or from other windows, I can't run SFC update 2018-04 keeps failing.
try sfc/scanow from an elevated command prompt. Disable any 3rd party AV if you're using one. And try running it again.
Also make sure you have enough free space on your drive.
