Missing files and folders

I am having problems after importing files (video and images) from a USB pen. If I use File Explorer, the folder is empty or sub folders are missing. If I open a folder in Onedrive, I can play any track or view a video or view an photo. If I then transfer any of those files to the SP3 or additional MicroSD card, I am unable to find them.
Please Guys, am I doing something wrong or is this another Windows 10 issue that has not yet been resolved?

make sure your copying and pasting and not creating shortcuts...
