Microsoft cut up 18,000

Wow, Microsoft is cutting 18,000. Not much to say but that I have a heavy heart for all those who lost their jobs. I've been in this position several times in the past.

Yeah, that is rough. Mostly out of Nokia but still sucks.

Well they targeted a Design and R&D Center in Finland that employed 500 and another 500 from a production center in Finland, both were attached to the Nokia X cancellation...
