keyboard not charging

i have recently bought this new surface book,for around3days, and the keyboard doesn't seem to charge even the led of the charging cable is on. it works if i plug it directly into the clipboard, but not the keyboard, anyone could help?
i have tried to restart or uninstall the driver already, and still no luck
any help ?

Some people have reported a failure to charge the keyboard unit because there is a bent pin inside the connector port. Get a torch (flashlight in the US) and compare the two power ports and se if you can detect a misalignment in the keyboard one compared to the Clipboard...

so i cant possibly fix it without returning it to the ms ?tho i cant reli spot the difference between ,thanks
