Install & native boot VHD Win 8/ 8.1 on Surface Pro 3 - Any successes?

Someone was having trouble with this.. I am wonder if they or others got any successes or faced certain issues?

I need to go about and do this as well.

Is there no one at Microsoft who will give clear instructions on this? Is there a Surface Pro hotline that we can call?
