finally getting my hands on my SP3

I ordered my SP3 I5 8gb 256gbhd about a week ago as they had on offer on in PC world to get £100 cash back

i fly home later today and will finally get my hands on it cannot wait

few questions, upto now i have bought these to go with the surface

is there any thing else you,s would reccomend i buy

also i have used AVG free as my virus software on my pc for years and never had any problems , any 1 else used this and does it play nice with the surface

Also do yous have any advice on usefull apps or good games to download from microsoft store when i get it

I'm currently using AVG. Works find but be sure to disable Windows Defender.

Finally on my surface absolutely love it touch wood no problems yet

If you do anything with SD cards, or external storage. I found this absolute gem which helps my daily life and makes the surface possible for me. Had it 3 months, use it daily. No problems

I think AVG should automatically disable Defender. It doesn't need to be uninstalled, just switched off.

OP, you can open Task Manager, click the services tab, right click Defender and stop or disable service.
