Docking station w/USB hard wired keyboard

Anyone else able to use their USB keyboard without having to unplug the keyboard? Don't know if it's just this HP keyboard or if anyone else has had this problem? Every time I put the surface 3 in the doc I have to cycle the USB by unplugging and re-plugging the USB connector. Don't have another keyboard to test but I did get a replacement SP3 and it also has the same issue.

I'm using a wireless keyboard/mouse that communicates with a USB dongle plugged into my USB docking station, also have a USB HDD, & USB Printer connected. No issues.

ok, this is one I have is wired, not wireless.

My wife is using a wired usb Dell keyboard with no problems. She keeps a wired mouse and keyboard plugged in to the dock and only unplugs the surface.

I am running a DasKeyboard on one dock and a Filco on the other, both are working fine. I carry a oddball with me on trips, it works fine too. No behavior like you are describing.
