Battery Limit is Enabled on Surface Book 2 but only works for battery 1??

I`ve enabled the "Battery Limit" feature from the firmware, which allows you to limit charging to 50%. This is great for me because I plug in my SB most of the time.

But the limit is only applying to battery 1 (battery in the tablet portion) - the battery in the keyboard section continues to charge past 50%

Can anyone tell me if they are having the same issue??

Same behavior on my Surface Book 2:

Battery 1 (Small capacity, screen, "Clipboard") does not use the battery saver function.
Battery 2 (Large capacity, keyboard, "Base") uses the battery saver function, with adjustable % remaining before power limiting begins.

How are you able to adjust the %remaining value?

Battery Saver is different from Battery Limit.

BS limits power usage when your battery gets low.
BL prevents the battery from charging fully if you have the SB plugged in for a long time (was named kiosk mode in some models).

Thanks, yea was thinking you had found a method to define the charge limit! Seems its hard configured to stop charging at 50% - pity.
