Apple Watch to last only 2.5 hours

I'll just wait 365 days for the 2nd generation apple watch.
That's mighty generous. 2.5 hours.... How many hours of use do you get from your smartphone with a battery 6x or greater in capacity? 4 hours of constant use? 5 hours? (Not standby, but using constantly).
2.5 hours in a small watch sounds great. I wonder, in pursuit of fairness, how long a galaxy gear or Moto 360 lasts for whilst taxing the apps, constant use for 2.5 hours.
It's a first gen device that I for one will skip, but a battery with such capacity is fantastic for its physical size!
Just to make it a balanced argument

I'm not interested in this mainly because it's square! Looks awful imo, if it was circular they would have had me... I'll be picking up a Microsoft Band if it's ever released in this country though, and I know it's a rectangle but it's a different kind of device
