Anyone getting the message" Display driver failed to start"?

Since the recent update (KB4284835) on Tuesday, 6-12-18, I have been getting black screens upon startup, freezing, and problems with brightness control. I have tried the recommended search for updated drivers, but none seems to exist. Is this a current, ongoing issue? I'm on build 17134.112
 
After several reboots, uninstalling and reinstalling the camera and several more reboots, the driver display error message no longer appears, brightness controls work, no black screens, and Windows Hello is operational again. Something worked.
