That's really odd, installed 10162 using a MS key, and upgraded to 10240 today. It was an official ISO...
- Open an elevated command prompt.
- Type the following command and hit the Enter key:
slmgr /ipk W269N-WFGWX-YVC9B-4J6C9-T83GX
Wait for the message box popup that the key is installed.
- Now type the following command and press Enter
slmgr /skms kms.xspace.in
Again, wait for the message box.
- Finally, enter the following command:
slmgr /ato
After you hit the Enter key, Windows 10 build 10240 will become activated
MS didn't release a 10240 ISO, if you got one online you might have issue come the 29th.Just FYI, I didn't even bothered with 10162. I just searched for 10240 directly, downloaded and installed it. Works fine.
Worked for me as well thanksproblems with activation on build 240?

I don't think it would be an issue. The only reason they insisted on via windows update is to test their servers as this is the way forward. But we will see, I am all in for adventures
