Well, it corrected the drop down menu behavior of my bank's internet banking, for one.

in GMT-Bases countries it is often rolled out around afternoon/early evening (like on Windows Phone)

So I have just installed all the updates. And I think browsing speed and smoothness has increased. The touch keyboard is now working here on the forum as well!

The February update, which will be available later today, includes improved Surface Wi-Fi reliability, connectivity in various scenarios, and performance improvements:

Installed the update and it went ok. Have not noticed anything freezing up or not working. Played music, a few games, browsed the web and it went smoothly.
