I'm using an ASUS monitor and some random Amazon mini displayport to HDMI adapter. Do you think the issue is with the display, cable or surface? N NClens New Member Jan 16, 2015 #4 It may be an adapter issue. Not all adapters can output HDMI 2.0 or 4K over HDMI 1.4.
