Big changes for M$ in the coming years; I hope this translates to their goal of better services and devices. Software is anyone's game now-a-days, and I'd like to see M$ take this new direction in the right way. Thanks for sharing.

I skype with an iPad "3" almost nightly. No issues, apart from a slow connection at times.

Sure seems like they did, doesn't it - it comes in tomorrow so we will see then. I too prefer the thin and sleek aspect of the RT, I hope the case isn't that large or heavy.

I'm not sure about the game, that trailer was all over the place. I will play it first. Your portfolio, however, was very impressive and well put together - You've got a great setup and a sweet tablet too.

I just purchased the Red/Black case, from the pictures, it looks to be a newer model and has addressed a few of the issues.

Fantastic; I didn't give much consideration to a tablet until my laptop's webcam went kaputz, and used a family iPad to make up for it. Glad I did some research and got a great deal on my new Surface RT, and the accessories I got for it. Just purchased the Red/Black case, excited to have it...

I can sacrifice edge protection for the weight and sleekness of the case. It's not a huge deal, more curious of how well it protects the corners without full coverage. About to purchase a black/grey one, can't wait to get it.

Bounce is something that would get in the way of use with my touch cover. I'll look into it further on the old thread that Tony linked us to. I own both a touch and a type cover (prefer the touch cover), so I'll check it out. The case doesn't look like it has too much protection on the corners...

How can I force my RT to update? It knows there are updates and says it will install them soon. I am on 8.1, 8.0 let me update & shut down.

Does anyone have some good suggestions? I love how slim and sleek my Surface tablet is, and I'd like to keep it that way. I bought a skin cover, but I just don't think that will do the job. I'm looking for a slim case that has a clasping kickstand (like the Surface's) and overlaps slightly...

Do we know a release date? I knew about this a while back, but didn't pay much attention because I didn't have a tablet.

Netflix can be spotty with buffering. Gets annoying and you may need to close the app.
