Windows 10 Preview on Surface Pro 3

I experienced this a couple of times yesterday, but while on 10166. SP3 was sat there happy as larry, S3 suddenly quit. Both connected to same plug.

Mine was coming out of Connected Standby, SP3 had been in heavy sleep I believe as it had been unused all night then tried to connect to the network at my office and got Limited so then I tried my mobile hotspot and same thing. Rebooted and it connected perfectly.

What's with the post update firmware installation from May! Every time I update the OS it tries to install this again. Then it says it failed then doesn't try again until the next OS update. I tried toggling my Bluetooth and it didn't work (twice). How do I know if the firmware is actually up to date or not?

Google as default search engine option in Edge is available.

Makes me happy. I like Bing and DuckDuckGo too, but Google is the Linus comfort blanket.

Type something in the Cortana search and get Bing results in a fresh tab, then type it again in the address bar and get Google results...best of both worlds; quickly!

Nothing over here. Bizarrely though I have the option for www.gov.uk to be a default search provider :lol:

It is installed, it just keeps coming back. Did you ever get the June one? That one actually still stays on top even if the May re-installs, they need to re-patch it

Seeing a rather strange procedure. when opening recycle bin, even if everything in there is simply some desktop shortcuts, upon clicking, it doesn't open until the attached usb harddrive has spun up.

I'm in the UK and mine appeared last night first time I told both machines to check for updates.
