Windows 10 Preview on Surface Pro 3

Yes it's funny how everyone's experience is different. Mine so far with my new reinstall from ISO did wonders, along with the August Intel driver. Internet Explorer works like a charm, can play videos on IE, on videos app, youtube, etc. Only get the fan running like a jet when performing demanding tasks as expected, battery is lasting between 6 and 7 hours.

I do get strange glitches tough. Weirdest of them is when half of the screen's image freezes, and in order to unfreeze I have to rotate and then put it back and it starts working again.

All in all, it has been a pretty usable machine so far.

My machine is already showing 9933, too bad we will never get those haha. Seems like MSFT is internally pushing daily builds to their employees.

Oh swell. Getting an error message on update install. Says 0x80246017.

Side note the install reinstalled the stinking POS video drivers MS seems to think are awesome and now my SP3 is back into jet engine mode.

It won't install. These updates are only suposed to be installed by people within Microsoft. Not suposed to be public. Here, I see the 9933 Pro, but it is most likely a bug.

Huh I think that FBL awesome thing may actually be a new preview build. Its referring to it as a preview branch in advanced settings whatever that is.

Yeah, that 9932/33 build has already been verified as a mistake--we weren't supposed to see it. I do hope we'll see another build soon, though, that addresses the fan and IE/video issues. Those are the two things I dislike about the preview at this point; everything else seems pretty good. Great, considering it's a beta.

I think autorotate is off by default in display settings. Lord knows why. Maybe check that?

Rotate is working fine on mine.

the apply button is always greyed out on mine as well, but it doesnt change anything for me. I can happily toggle between autorotation and locked rotation without having to apply anything.

Surface Pro 3 - i5 128GB - Windows 10 9926 (Clean install) with latest firmware and drivers from Windows Update.

Anyone having issues waking up from sleep ?
9 times out of 10 I can't wake up the device after it goes to sleep.
I press the power button, screen stays black, Type keyboard lights up, I do get haptic feedback if I touch the Surface Home button on the screen.

Also it keeps not connecting to my Wifi by default,
everytime I reboot I check "Connect automatically" but then it reverts back to not being checked on the next boot.

Didn't have those issues with build 9879

I'm having both of those issues. Build 9926 clean (ISO) install.
