I had display driver crashes going from intel beta drivers to windows 10. Installing August display drivers fixes any problems:

My advice, try and update with the intel drivers and if you have issues, just download the august firmware pack and install the intel drivers from that. Afterwards you'll be prompted via Windows update to download the Jan 15th firmware including latest display drivers.
Worked like a charm. Thanks!!!

Has anyone tried the new Windows 10 that was released today? Does it let you set DPI scaling independently on each monitor? I really hope that issue is fixed.

I believe this was corrected in the last version. I could drag a window over from my 27inch monitor running 2500x1400 @ 100% and would rescale everything to 150% on the surface screen automatically.

Got a new Hardware update 1/22/2015 - it boosted the Intel driver to 10.18.4079, problably to fix the issue we were having with the video drivers.

GOOD NEWS ON VIDEO DRIVERS:

If you would like to enjoy the HD Control Panel with this build you can. You just need to delete the current drivers and reboot, then run the Setup from the extracted .zip file for the win64_15363 drivers. The latest ones will not work. Believe me, this screen looks MUCH better at full brightness with gamma cranked down to about a 6.

Since most of you probably don't have those lying around and because I'm such a swell guy :), I've uploaded them to my Dropbox account for you.

Good luck:

REALLY??? that is definitely the best news I've heard this year. I'm going to install Windows 10 as my primary OS now. Thank you.

Ok, seems if you want to arrange tiles on your Start Menu along with custom headings, you need expend into Tablet Mode and do it there.

Would like to add Control Panel to my "Places" sub heading but not sure how to do that.,
