Good. At least you do have a way of getting full speed until Microsoft fixes the problem. Guess I've never seen the problem because I shut mine down when I'm not using it. Is it just one quick push on the power button to put into connected standby?
Started the update just before I left work and it downloaded and said it was installing. It rebooted and then hung at the screen where it was saying it was installing a system update and I had to manually power it off after like half an hour. I was afraid that the update would screw up my system.
During the update fan became active. After some time a thermometer icon appeared on the black screen and SP3 turned off. I waited a couple of minutes and powered on, update history shows all successful. We'll see...
