Touchpad on Touc vs Type cover

Any of you guys tried out both versions of the cover? I started with Touch (no complaints there) and went to Type (typing performance was greatly improved), but WOW the touch pad on my Type cover is much less sensitive to taps than the Touch.

Tapping and double-tapping was no issue at all on the Touch, but I'd guess that 70% of the time my taps don't register on the TypeCover, using the exact same velocity as I would on the Touch. If I hammer the thing with my fingertip, then it does register.


Anybody else have the same experience?

i use the pen all the time. i got very frustrated using my fingers when i first got it, & started using the pen instead. sometimes your fingers work, & then they dont.
