Just to update this thread - I have't had a single bluescreen or hang up since running these scans!
Thanks again so much - I did worry this device was going to give me constant random errors!

I've got a random error on another PC -( "Exception Breakpoint" error when I press the shutdown button) I didn't know about getting windows to check its system files, I may just have to try it on that too!
