I will my Surface pro3 srarting without a password. I have try this with netplwiz (I remove the mark)
By starting up he sometimes(?) still ask for a password.
Anyone?

Have you tried this?:
Open command prompt. Type netplwiz uncheck the box and type PW twice. Click OK and restart.
Works for me.

number 1 win 8 question i swear. abit creepy doing that on a mobile computer.

i hate passwords but if i leave it behind i hope NTFS dose its job

uncheck the "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" i think is what he is getting at.

to uncheck just click it once like you would if you wanted to check it :D

I have do that. When I starting up he don't ask for a password. If I starting up after a while (the next day) he ask again for a password.

i will do what he said tonight and wait a day. make sure its not "resuming hibernation" I've never done it. just told many people how to do it.

make sure to hit apply then enter the password twice

hey, i found the last thing you need to do..

power options, require password on WAKEUP.

mine is still grey but i will mess with it some more. but i think that's whats going on with it.

when i turn it on (not wake up) it goes right to desktop so we are closer
ahh in the screen with the greyed out "don't require password" up top there is a "change settings that are currently unavailable. click that then click "don't require a password"

that should be the last thing you need if you go into sleep mode. not shut down
