Original touch keyboard

Hello,

My friend and me have a surface pro 4
My touch keyboard (not docked) is not the same of my friend,

My keyboard have more key (é ù è à ...)
Then it is bigger and not very easy to use :
Please check picture here to see the differences,
We have the same language on the tablet,

Does someone know how to not have these characters?

Go into your keyboard language settings (top left of your keyboard with a gear symbol) and choose the keyboard symbol that represents the smaller keyboard.

Thanks for your reply,
I try all french keyboards on the settings,
All are more larges than my friend!
On the keyboard option, i don't have the symbol that represent a small keyboard,
The "no dock" keyboard is smaller than the docked one but not enought small, not like keyboard friend

In the keyboard of my friend, there is only letters one the first and second ligne and there is no arrows directions,

On my keyboard, i have accents character ans direction arrows,

Please check the picture above.

Perhaps a need download an other french keyboard?

2 things,

1. Check the "Language" your friends keyboard is set to, I'm thinking yours is French and his is not.
2. Looking at the 2 keyboards one has settings on the lop left which happened with the recent Windows 10 Fall Creators update (1709) and the other is in the lower right which is where it has been since the beginning.

BUT keyboard styles really didn't change with the update so looking at #1
