New Apple 12" MacBook - competition to SP3 ?

Not really competing products -- those buying the new MacBook likely don't know of or wouldn't consider a Surface Pro -- same for Surface Pro purchasers. It's great the marketplace gives us choices.

Regardless, we'll eventually see the Microsoft ads comparing the 2, unless they finally wise up and rethink their ad strategy...

We might like our SP3, but objectively speaking this new computer is very inovative. The way they miniaturised the motherboard, the way the batteries fill all the space, the way it looks, the keyboard, the trackpad. It's just a gorgeous device. Inside and outside.

I am not a Mac guy, but seriously, there is no laptop coming close in term of look and quality. Let me think: Lenovo ? Lol. Dell ? Re-lol.

I do not consider it as competition because it has no touchscreen. I wont consider buying one. But this thing is very sexy.

Let's be honnest once in a while: good job Apple.

But, but that wasn't the question :D

I'm interested to see what kind of performance they wring out of the Core-M, so far it hasn't fared as well as in Intel's reference platform.

I say, good job, Apple, also.

The tech world wants my money. They must innovate and get better and smarter and make a more valuable product.
They must be better than the competition, whom is running the same race.

Because they fight over me, I win.

Apple Marketing, being the best at identifying , targeting and attracting prospective new customers, might consider advertising this on Internet Porno sites, as a aid to bedtime browsing orgasm.:)

It's a beautiful machine, and whereas I respect the engineering that went into it, there is no way in hell I'd abide a laptop with one port. I'd sooner choose a thicker machine.

What's the return policy, I might want to get one for the sake of returning it, like some other people do.
