Microsoft Surface Dock update error

Hi there,

i am trying to update my surface dock (the new one) with the software Microsoft Surface Updater.

After the software uploaded the firmware to the dock i get the following screen:

I unplugged my Surface 4 from the dock for 10 hours (!) now but still keep getting the same message.

I also powered off my Surface Dock for at least 10 minutes, rebooted my computer and re-installed the Microsoft Surface Updater but still the same message.

Any hint what i could do in this case?

Have you rebooted your SP4?

If ALL ELSE Fails - You can always Un-install / Re-install. We all love our Windows, but yet it still sometimes needs a little push. I know how frustrating it can be. Here are some helpful links provided by Microsoft. I hope this helps. Please let us know how it works out for you / what you did to resolve it.
