Keep the touch keyboard from jumping in my face when typecover is attached?

Hello all, i tend to use my surface mostly mouseless, meaning that i will touch anything i need on the screen. This is all fine and dandy but when i touch a typing box the stupid touch keyboard jumps up. I dont want to disable the thing entirely because i do use it every once in a while, but when the type cover is attached i really dont want it popping up. Anyone know a setting i can change to get to this?

Are you using chrome as your browser?? Chrome tends to bring up the touch keyboard even if your type cover is attached. It has something to do with chrome. Internet explorer, for example, has no such issue and will not bring up the touch keyboard as long as the type cover is connected.

I don't believe there is a fix yet. I could be wrong though.

Thanks for telling, i already started a thread about trying to convert from chrome to IE. Another strike against chrome i guess.
