So I was sitting in my office this morning on my Windows 7 workstation. I have TeamViewer on it, as well as my SP3, which I had left at home, asleep.
A couple minutes into my work, the Teamviewer notification popped up saying that the SP3 was online, which was weird because like I said it was asleep. I chalked it up to a fluke, but a few minutes later it happened again. Then I got the brilliant idea to pay attention to how often the notifications popped up, and sure enough it was every 10 minutes almost on the dot.
I have no idea exactly what is supposed to be happening in the background with regards to connected standby, but I'm guessing that this was a manifestation of it.
