Inking - singing surface

Just wondering if this is a normal phenomenon or something peculiar (certainly never experienced it on the SP3)

When I am inking into the keyboard window instead of using qwerty, say doing a web search, I've jut noticed that my surface very faintly chimes/sings. It almost sounds like a tiny ding from some metal being tapped. Only occurs when using the inking panel.

Edit: Ok, so having followed up on this, the sound occurs for any pen touch, not just the ink box, and is via the speakers, louder the volume, louder the noise, however it only happens if I give the screen a quick tap, wheras if I gently touch the screen then there is no sound.

Sounds like its you bd, I don't have this problem either... however today I had my first blue screen of death in many years and it was on the surface...I'm actually a little worried... haven't had that happen to electronics since late 90's/very early 2000's
