Looks like the i3 / i7 models are now shipping Aug 1.

so I guess it would now work to pick up an SP3/i5 at BB, return it in 15 days. then pick up one at the MSFT store, and return it in 30 days...

I'm in the US and it's showing 8/1 but the prices have also come down (I'm guessing to help compensate for the type cover).

Weird, now the prices are back to normal. I don't think I ever clicked on an a "Student link" in the last few days but maybe I did... it let me place the order though and I got a receipt.:starstruck: Fully expecting them to charge me the full amount which I'm good with as I don't qualify and I was going to buy it anyways.
