it's not that surprising that if a commentator shows up to a live broadcast and finds a new piece of technology, they are going to opt to use their existing device with their email and account configured. duh.
I wonder thought whether the Surfaces were even turned on. I watched several hours of coverage, and none of them were plugged in. never saw a commentator touch one.
same thought on ipad-could-use-a-kickstand but it was not a great night for Surface. when it comes to marketing, the rule is to do the opposite of whatever Microsoft does...
