Has anyone figured out this Forum's shrinking text box?

When I type in this Forum using Modern IE, the text area shrinks to just 2 lines. It is very odd and no other Forums I visit have this behavior. Has anyone ever figured out the problem here?

Roach claimed that IE11 works perfectly in another thread, I call BULL CLOWN.

It does compared to IE 10, I can have returns and rich text....unlike before. Honestly the change in text box does really effect the functionality.

It's quite annoying. I asked Clippy about it, he told me to disconnect my router and wait 30 seconds...
