Hard Drive Replacement

I tried a few searches and didn't see this addressed...

Has anyone ever tried putting a new HD in their SP4? I figured 256GB would be more than enough two years ago, but I'm constantly at 80% full - and I keep a lot of docs on an external drive.

(Then again, when I pulled my 20MB drive out of my MacSE in 1989 for a 30MB drive, none of us could imagine how the heck we'd ever fill that extra 10 megs...)

I wouldn't try it. I'd just sell it and buy a new one.

Have you considered an SD card? You could double your disc space.

Open the kickstand. You will see a micro SD slot beneath. Insert micro SD card. Voila.
