Disabling Compatibility Mode in IE for a Site?

Any pointers on how to disable the compatibility mode in IE for a site? GMail complains that it won't work properly when IE decides to run it with compatibility on, and indeed it doesn't work very well at all. But I haven't been able to find yet how to turn it off...

Go to desktop IE and click ALT-T on your physical keyboard then select "Compatibility View Settings" and you should see any sites that are enable for compatibility view. Remove the one(s) you don't want.
