I have been noticing in a lot of online reviews, video reviews as well, the noisiness of the Surface Pro 8 keyboard being mentioned a lot. I kinda understand the touchpad part but you don't HAVE to click the trackpad since it's touch sensitive, You can gently tap it and still get a left or right...

My fated day has arrived. Downloading/installing Windows 11 on my Surface Pro 6 now from Windows Update. Not an insider beta version either.

I have only upgraded my Gaming Laptop to Windows 11 as I am waiting on the official update for my Surface Pro 6 to Windows 11. I am pretty confident I am going to miss Tablet mode, but at least there's some good window management involved and improved support for touch in Windows 11.....so far...

Thunderbolt 4 with eGPU is reason enough....however, the lack of CPU throttling when pushed to the limit probably means a LOT as well. The test I saw went up to 35watts and no throttling. The bezels being smaller are also a huge selling point over the 7 Pro + two USB C ports instead of just one...

Ha! Maybe the week AFTER the official release tomorrow...lol. I'm not taking that chance just yet. I'm going to wait and read all the news articles about bricked Surfaces, etc before trying to install it myself.

I'm guessing this last round of firmware updates are in preparation for Windows 11 which is being announced tomorrow? That or 21H1 stuff.
