Believe it or not, it's true. Like I said before, the SP2 I had before this one had the same exact issue, so it's not like I'm making it up or anything. And since it doesn't sound like anyone else has the issue, it's obviously a defect - one that I keep encountering for some reason.

I remember reading a Surface Pro 2 document on MS's website and they claim that it'll work. The only downside is that it'll take longer to charge your device.

What I'm saying is, are you sure this is related to the December firmware? My SP2 only had the 10/24 firmware installed, yet it had the wake issue.

Nope, your best bet is an exchange, assuming that's what you want. I have the same issue. Sometimes it charges, sometimes it doesn't. Either way, I'm getting a terrible battery life -- averaging 3 hours or so.

I had the same issue. The percentage doesn't update.... Mine is also the 256/8 version, and I'm also getting a replacement... Hmm... Mine is only a few days old though.
