well we almost got it... then the only thing I can suggest is do a factory restore, and that should fix it... if that doesn't fix it then something might be wrong with the onboard video and you're out of luck.... but try disconnecting the keyboard first and then perform a hard reset using the 2...

sounds like either it isn't seated properly in the dock or maybe you have some debris blocking the connection or it could be faulty charger... make sure you don't have any debris in the connector port...

isn't that supposed to reboot into recovery mode? since you didn't have a usb plugged in it probably hanged for a bit till you forced it to turn off/on to boot up again...

to boot into recovery isn't hold power and volume "UP" and then after 20 seconds you let go of power and keep holding volume up?
